We are committed to helping each member discover and develop their destiny. We accomplish this primarily through teaching identity - who you are in Christ. We provide ministry opportunities and help you cross the chicken line. God has called us to be fearless.
Outreach
Every Sunday day, rain or shine, you can join our outreach team as we minister to "God's mobile army". Between 30-40 people come for prayer and are receiving miracles of healing, as well as jobs and homes. Our goal is to teach them to trust God and not rely on human hands to meet their needs.

Missions
The Dominican Republic has been our mission field for 20 years. Our particular outreach has been to the children living in extreme poverty in the Santiago garbage dump, "Cien Fuego" (100 Fires).

Athens Christian Center has pioneered a children's program which offered food, after school tutoring, and taught English. Five of our graduates have even gone on to college!
​
This program has grown into a church that is impacting the community in ways you can't even imagine. The church has followed the Lord's leading and has absorbed the program, assigning a church member to each family with a child in our program as a Family Coach. We continue to provide support, teaching, training, finances, and volunteers to further God's presence in the DR.

Sunday Morning
Every Sunday morning at 10:30am join the celebration at 128 Church St. Athens, MI.
We worship the King, share testimonies of healing, experience miraculous healing and prophetic words, and learn from each other and the person teaching each Sunday.
​
Adults aren't the only ones who get to have fun and experience the miraculous! In Children's Church, the kids are busy learning how adored they are by Father God and how powerful they are in the Spirit.
Food Pantry
Athens Christian Center is a member of the Food Bank of South Central Michigan. We give to all who ask; we do not require 'proof of Income'. It is always our desire to demonstrate the goodness of God. Often the folks coming for food receive prayer. Many healing miracles happen right on the spot, others return the following month with glowing reports of what God has done after receiving prayer. We re-stock the pantry monthly and are always looking of volunteers with great attitudes and strong arms to help move the 1200 lbs of food from the trailer to the pantry shelves.
Back Pack Giveaway
At ACC we love kids! and we want to support them as they return to school. The third Saturday of August marks a special day of stuffing and giving away approximately 100 backpacks. Do you know of a child in need of school supplies? Send them our way! Would you like to help stuff a few backpacks?
