Purity...it's a tough idea.  It is hard to live with and seemingly impossible to recapture once it's gone.  Some would say, "Don't even try."  Yet there are teens and young adults at ACC who have made a strong commitment to pursue purity in their lives.  Following a seminar earlier this year, several young men and women of ACC made a public statement that they were dedicated to sexual purity.  During this "purity pledge", the teens invited the family of ACC to walk into their lives and help them remain true to their pledge.  They also told the adults how important it was for them to see purity demonstrated in the lives of the adults they knew.  In the words of one young adult who reaffirmed his commitment to purity, "Sexual impurity can easily destroy a person, both physically and emotionally.  And in the end, it doesn't just hurt you.  If I were to have premarital sex, I would view it as cheating on my future wife."
